Bike, Hike, Get loose

286 National Trail Day Event

Triangle Trails Initiative has great news. June 1 is National Trails Day! We will be partnering with Oaks & Spokes, TORC, Triangle Land Conservancy, Town of Cary, and a few other partners to host an event at Old Reedy Creek Road Trail Head. The 286 mountain bike trails have been open and legal for a year and a half without any official opening ceremony or activation. We want that changed, so we are calling all trail users to come have fun with us on June 1st from 10:00am- 2:00pm. Come ride mountain bikes with us, check out vendors, demo a bike from a local bike shop, or just grab a beer and some food from a food truck after your ride. There will be food trucks, local vendors, music, and bike rides led by different cycling organizations. We are also teaming up with our friends on the Crank Arm Brewing Cycling team as well as NC Adapted Sports to have led trail rides for different levels of riders to experience 286 in a group and to not get lost! If there is inclement weather the event will be cancelled. We can't wait to see you there. Lets Bike, Hike, and Get Loose.

We are looking forward to seeing you on June 1st.
